Industrial sieving remains efficient as long as the screen mesh openings remain clear. With fine, fatty, hygroscopic or electrostatic powders, particles can adhere to the screen mesh and progressively reduce throughput and separation consistency.
SODEVA offers two complementary deblinding technologies: SONISCREEN®, our ultrasonic solution, and mechanical deblinding using cleaning balls. The appropriate solution depends on the product characteristics, mesh size, required throughput and installation constraints.
SONISCREEN® transmits ultrasonic vibrations directly to the screen mesh. This excitation reduces particle adhesion to the mesh, facilitates the passage of fine powders and maintains a larger effective screening area.
This technology is particularly suitable for fine or difficult-to-sieve powders when maintaining throughput and consistent separation quality is essential.

For applications in potentially explosive dust atmospheres, discover our SONISCREEN® ATEX ultrasonic emitter, covered by an EU Type Examination Certificate issued by INERIS.
Cleaning balls are positioned underneath the screen mesh. Under the effect of vibration, they bounce against the mesh and help dislodge particles retained in the openings.
This mechanical solution is suitable for applications where the product characteristics and mesh size allow efficient deblinding without ultrasonics. It helps keep the screen active and maintain continuous sieving.
Each solution is engineered according to your powder characteristics, required particle size, throughput, reject rate and production-line integration requirements.
