Safety sieving protects your production by removing foreign bodies and agglomerates before or during the process, as well as before packaging.
SODEVA safety sieves retain particles larger than the defined mesh size, including packaging fragments, fibres, agglomerates and other contaminants. They help preserve final product quality and protect downstream equipment.
SODEVA designs high-throughput safety sieves adapted to your product, required control mesh size and installation requirements.
They can be installed at powder loading points, during production, before mixing, pneumatic conveying or packaging. Their design makes it possible to secure both new powders and recovered powders that are reintroduced into the process.
■ Removal of contaminants and agglomerates
■ Control of maximum particle size
■ Protection of downstream equipment
■ Integration into new or existing production lines
Certain fine, fatty, hygroscopic or electrostatic powders can blind the screen mesh and reduce sieving throughput.
Depending on the application, SODEVA safety sieves can be equipped with mechanical deblinding using cleaning balls or the SONISCREEN® ultrasonic system. This technology reduces particle adhesion to the screen mesh and helps maintain efficient sieving with difficult powders.
Each sieve is engineered according to the powder characteristics, required throughput, mesh size, hygiene requirements and production-line integration conditions.
SODEVA can carry out trials with your own product to determine the most suitable sieve model, screen mesh and deblinding technology.
