SODEVA SEPAR CLASS vibratory sieves are designed for particle size classification of powders, safety sieving and filtration of liquids containing solid particles.
They can separate a product into several particle size fractions, remove agglomerates or contaminants, and control product quality before transfer, mixing or packaging.
SEPAR CLASS sieves are available in different diameters, from 600 to 1,500 mm. Each machine is configured according to your product, required throughput, reject rate, separation fineness and production-line integration requirements.
Sieving can be carried out on one or several decks within a single sieve, or using a cascade of successive sieves when the process requires several separation stages.
■ Classification of powders into several particle size fractions
■ Safety sieving before mixing, transfer or packaging
■ Filtration of liquids containing solid particles
■ Sieve diameters from 600 to 1,500 mm
■ Screen meshes adapted to your application
Fine, fatty, hygroscopic or electrostatic powders can blind the screen mesh and reduce classification throughput.
Depending on the product, screen mesh and required separation fineness, SEPAR CLASS sieves can be equipped with:
■ mechanical deblinding using cleaning balls;
■ the SONISCREEN® ultrasonic deblinding system.
These options help maintain the effective screening area and consistent classification performance, particularly with difficult powders.
Stainless-steel mesh screens from 20 to 500 µm are designed for fine-powder screening. They can clog, especially with greasy, electrostatic or difficult-flowing products. SONISCREEN® ultrasonic deblinding keeps the mesh openings active, stabilises throughput and improves separation consistency.
A sieve can be fitted with one or several screen decks. The upper decks remove oversized particles and agglomerates; the lower decks separate or remove fines. This provides a consistent particle-size distribution suited to the recipe, mixing, dosing or packaging process.
Coarser meshes are also possible, particularly for safety screening. They retain agglomerates, oversized particles, packaging fragments, fibres and other foreign bodies before mixing, transfer, dosing or packaging. This protects both the product and downstream equipment.
SODEVA designs and manufactures its equipment in France. We can carry out trials with your own product to determine the appropriate sieve diameter, number of decks, mesh sizes, deblinding system and overall configuration.
We also supply screen meshes and provide screen replacement and re-meshing services for sieves of all brands.
